Dino Adventure Park in Weiterstadt is an indoor family park not far from Frankfurt am Main, making it convenient to visit with children in rainy or cold weather. Kletterwald ropes course
There is a ropes course about 150 metres long on the upper level. It is roughly 4 metres high, so it offers a good view of the dinosaurs and the park’s central area. Parents can complete the course with their children if a child needs support.

Der Fluß water ride
Der Fluß is a water ride around “Dinosaur Island”. Children travel in small canoes past large figures and scenery. In the original setup, a boat is intended for two children, though the specific admission rules should be confirmed on site.

Goldwaschen and excavations
In the Goldwaschen area, children pan for “gold” flakes and small finds in trays. Nearby is a palaeontological excavation site, where a child can use brushes, sieves and shovels to look for parts of a large dinosaur skeleton in the sand. It is a good option for children who enjoy quieter activities as well as running and climbing.
Softball-Shooter
Softball-Shooter is an area with soft-ball cannons. Children shoot soft balls at targets or have a safe duel. When some targets are hit, a dinosaur starts to move and roar, making the attraction more interactive than an ordinary play cannon.
Laser cave
A grotto with laser beams
In the dark laser cave, visitors have to pass between the beams without touching them. Cameras inside show what is happening on a monitor, while the system records time and mistakes. Children enjoy competing for the best result of the day; adults can try the course too.
5D cinema
The 5D cinema adds physical effects to the film: moving seats, wind, water spray and other elements. One story involves a little dinosaur looking for its mother. Before the screening, consider whether the format suits the child: sudden movements and special effects may be too intense for sensitive children.
Entertainment and a “live” dinosaur
The park’s website advertises the appearance of a “live” dinosaur at weekends, walking through the hall and interacting with guests. Check the entertainment schedule before travelling: such programmes depend on the day, visitor numbers and the park’s internal plans.
Toddler area
There is a separate area for children roughly aged 1 to 5, separated from the more active attractions. It usually contains soft play elements, a mini slide, a ball pit and toys. Socks are required in the toddler area.
Food, relaxation and souvenirs
The park has the Jungle Lounge, a café/restaurant with hot meals, drinks, coffee and desserts. Reserved tables are available for children’s celebrations.
The dinosaurs look very realistic
The Jungle Shop sells souvenirs and gifts: dinosaur figures, experiment kits, soft toys, books, clothing and accessories. The original materials mentioned brands such as Schleich and KOSMOS; the availability of particular items should not be treated as guaranteed.

The packages generally include admission and access to attractions, a reserved table, decorations, a children’s menu, a drink, a birthday bonus and free admission for one accompanying adult for every 5 children.
There are also expanded options, such as Disco im Dinopark and Dino Lasertag. They are intended for groups of 8 children or more and are arranged on request by email. Guests are generally allowed to bring their own cake or muffins for a birthday, but this should be confirmed when booking.
Group visits
Group rates are available for kindergartens, school classes, clubs, public, church and other organisations. According to the park’s website, a group starts at 15 people, and 3 accompanying adults can enter free of charge. Special opening times for groups may be available by arrangement.
